I'm FlippIN OUT!! My brain is still thumpin' by the kibbles and bits Stevie dropped in this interview.

For fan's who've been following Stevie too long to count, this project sounds as it may be the artistically driven DREAM release we have been hungrily waiting for all these years following "Bella Donna". We knew Stevie had it in her to create something magiKal, personal & grow and stretch as an artist, It just took her working with the right producer's and musicians, & for that A BIG THANK YOU & Shout out esp. to DAVE STEWART for understanding what makes Stevie unique, being able to draw it out and record it for the world!!! This album better come out this fall, I don't know if I can wait any longer.

Zombie, I need to develop a theory that will help me sleep better at night. Your post nips at my pips....thanks 4 the laughs!

thats what i thought too but then i re-read the interview and she says she had only 2 new songs ...the Twilight song and the one she wrote about Hurricane Katrina/New Orleans...so i think they are 2 different songs

If this is generally as good at Trouble In Shangri-La was, I am going to be a very, very happy chiffonhead. I wasn't as big of a fan of her stuff on Say You will with a few exceptions ("Thrown Down" and "Destiny Rules"), so I'm hoping she's pulling more towards TISL in terms of style/inspiration/general quality of work.

Something tells me that this album will be more organic and cohesive than TISL which featured no less than half a dozen different producers.

But then she'd have to do the Tusk doc dance, and I don't think she can without snapping the other hip.

Amazing lead-in to the New Orleans song.

This sounds like Edge from the RAL tour.

Wow, first of all, this interviewer should talk to her every time she puts out a press release. What a fantastic group of questions!!

Second of all, I think the covers are going to be "Crash" and "Face the Promise". Lets be realistic, after the unleashed tour, I really can't see Stevie being able to pull off "Rock and Roll." The vocal is too tough!

Third of all, I think the song they haven't done in a while will be "Whole Lotta Trouble." However, "Rooms on Fire", "Bella Donna", "Talk to Me", "I Can't Wait (doubtful)", and "Kind of Woman" would be amazing.

LASTLY, I HOPE HOPE HOPE HOPE HOPE HOPE the 76' demo is CHINA DOLL!!

1. Italian Summer
2. Wide Sargasso Sea
3. Annabel Lee
4. The Ghosts Are Gone
5. Everybody Loves You
6. New Orleans song
7. Twilight song (this does make me shudder - I hope it's not too obviously about Twilight)
8. Mike Campbell Song #1
9. Mike Campbell Song #2
10. 1970s demo
I guess when David Wild said there was a song about Vampires it was the Twilight Movie related song. We all assumed it was the New Orleans song.

I think that's likely, too. But I was really impressed with that album (the first four tracks especially), and I think that it'll be interesting to see if she can find that creativity for this album.

I always thought she was saying Sapphire.

You're the only person besides me who hears these words. Most people claim it's Indian dancing.

Yes, it was just me and a little piano. I think I wrote it in 1976, maybe even ’75. It sounds like I’m 5. Glen Ballard said, “So where has this little gem been hiding?”

She has to be talking about China Doll here. Her voice in that demo does make her sound 5.
