I am actually down to listening to all my music in mp3 format, though... the convenience of today's tiny iPods can't be beat. I can clip my iPod to my belt buckle in the morning, plug it up to my soundbar on my work computer, and when I get home can do the same with my home theater system. Since I have only a motorcycle for transportation these days, hauling around my giant CD book was no longer an option, & pointing & clicking with iTunes on my laptop is far easier than shuffling around for CDs.

I agree about losing files. The way the blank cdr's are going with the silver flaking, cracking and whatever else.I have not burned a cd in ages.I agree .I rather have the physical copy of the cd in my music library.I backup everything on my 4 external drives .which add's up to about 6.5TB altogether. My problem is now try not to lose my usb drives,SD cards physically.
