Default Random Questions/New Hijack Thread

I just tried to retrieve the Hijack thread, but it's locked How come? Anyhoo, what happened to CNN Headline News? It's BBC News (all the time now). I went to put "Showbiz Tonite" on last nite at 11:00 (it puts me to sleep ) and it was BBC news and still is now. Please explain. Or is it just a Canadian Broadcasting thing?

^It might be a Canadian thing. I'm pretty sure we still have the regualr programming.

Do you think I'm bipolar? More and more each day, I think I am.

How does "green moss" grow inside of a person on their small intestine?

hmmmm...I wonder why. I like that thread. Mostly because I have meaningless points I like to make. And instead of starting a new thread for my every whim....( ) I like putting it in a hijack thread. thanks for starting a new one

One of my all time favorite songs is "The Highs Are Too High" by Pretty & Twisted (which was Johnette Napolitano and Marc Mooreland).
Fantastic release...

I worry about you often! You do seem depressed alot. You nurses never take care of your own health. There are two types of bipolar, the one that is more famous where people get so manic they do insane things, and then there is Bipolar II, which is a depressed mood with spikes of moderate mania every so often. Take care of your sweet self, Curty!

Hmm. I'm convinced my ex-roommate was an undiagnosed manic-depressive. For one thing, his mother had it, and was on meds for it (and it's genetic, you know). He definitely did crazy things - risky sexual behavior, buying things he couldn't afford ($1500 vacuum cleaners, trips to Europe) when he didn't even have a job. And then he would get so depressed that he wouldn't come out of his room for two days.

Anyway, Curtis, it's hard to tell just from message board posts. You do seem depressed at times, so I hope you're taking care of yourself.

Yes, it sounds like your ex-roommate was bipolar! It's so sad that people don't get treatment for the disease. I had a friend who finally got treated when she hit bottom, she tried to jump out of a car on the freeway while on vacation in CA because she thought people were after her. So crazy. But she is happy and well today after getting treatment!
