For real?! Damn. I'm glad you told me. But I'm sad I won't have a chance to get a good ticket through them, and will have to trust my luck with ticketbastard.

Just got this email from the Petty fan club. This really does not clear anything up however. This info came with Berkeley fan club presale info

Stevie Nicks will perform several songs with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers on the remainder of the tour, so fans will get a chance to see a live performance of the hit 1981 duet between Nicks and Petty, "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around," along with other favorites.

In what way did you get screwed over? Sorry to hear that. I used the club and got fourth row.

Dammit, it is for 1 ticket. I read "commemorative tickets" and assumed it would be a pair. Dumb, dumb dumb. Yeah, I can't afford that.

What to do, what to do.....

I'm not a member. Did you get good seats? If I do decide to go (I'm back to thinking I won't again) I guess I'll try the radio presale on Friday.

I got sec A, 2nd row, which is technically the pit, although I think it is really the group behind the pit. That is close, but to the side. For the other night I am more center, but the section further away, sec 5, row 9. I think they said they save a number of he good seats for the radio presale. The Highway Companions tickets went fast. chart 14381s.gif

Those are good seats as La Nicks should be facing you during Insider and immediately to your right during her background singing!!!!

After a quick test of my finger button....."refreshing screen" I was able to get Right section pit, row 9 for 9/30, and section "C" (UGH!) row 7 9/29. Better luck for LA. I wanna go, and I really want better for 9/29. Not to be a baby, but $85 for a section not front sux! Yes, I'm going, I'll quit my whining, but really it's just nerves. This crap stresses the "EFF" outta me!

I wouldn't be bummed if you're outside the pit because the stage is really high and being back a bit can be helpful.

I'm hoping for something in the first few rows of the main sections outside the pit.

Paula, just come, you know you want to. That is the absolute best time of year to come to the Bay Area and you can go to the Castro Street Fair on Sunday October 1st and get your gay fix.

The refresh killed me: I had the window open, but I had to go back through the Highway Companions portal, losing precious seconds, though the clock still said 10. I was afraid to try for other tickets, after I locked onto the first ones, I just thought they would all be gone. It irks me to pay $85 for seats in that A section - that's great that you managed the "real" pit. If anyone else is going to try, I think the option to let the Ticketmaster computer choose any seats, looking for "best available" is not the way to go. I got better seats for Fri, even at 10:04 by choosing $85. as the option.
This stuff gets me way too amped. I am tense now, and would like a massage.
