Just as it's possible that her memory is failing her. I take everything she says with quite a few grains of salt.

Chris said that he mocked her, and that she ran after him backstage and slapped him because behavior like that was no way to treat a paying audience.
Okay. I believe her. To me it's different to remember, or tell everyone, the exact day you stopped coke than to remember a guitar being thrown at you onstage.

Plz. Now I just think you are stubbornly ignoring evidence. The article implies that her and Lindsey joked about it, which further implies that Lindsey agreed that it happened, otherwise he wouldn't be joking about it with her.

That's fine, we're all free to believe what we want. But I still think homegirl should invest some of her riches in the power of ginkgo.

Yeah - but it says something to me about your ability to be open to new evidence about something that you don't want to believe. Namely, that it's probably futile to present you with any.
Good thing we don't have to record an album together. I can see you throwing your guitar at me as we speak...or vice versa?.

Meh, there's no new evidence. There's her current story, which is likely to change in three years or less. By next interview, it might be a keyboard that he threw at her.

Nah, I'll just mock you and kick you in the shin. You can throw the guitar at me and the rest of our band members can concoct a conspiracy to never confirm or express publicly the guitar throwing incident.

But what about the mojo article that has a third party witness to Stevie and LB joking about the time he threw his les paul at her? Isn't that evidence? Coupled with what she said today?
Or do you think Ken Callait is lying that Stevie and Linds joke about that?

Heck, maybe Lindsey didn't want to correct her in front of this writer and cause more conflict than Stevie claims they already have every day they're in each other's company.

Why would no one but Stevie who has spoken about this incident mention the guitar-throwing?

We already know the FleetMacCamp is made up of a bunch of liars and bull****ters. They open their shows with "The Chain," fer chrissakes.

That's not true. She USED to say she quit as soon as the doctor warned her that she could have a brain aneurysm and die. But in 2001, she revealed that she still did coke after that, only "the smallest amount I could get away with."

She hasn't changed the story since then, and I have a feeling that the initial story was to save face.

There's a whole hell of a lot that I'd only tell reporters in bits and pieces, too. You'd have to keep SOME level of privacy, even when telling your most intimate secrets.

I got the impression that the writer was quoting Ken Callait, and that Ken was interviewed separately. And in fact I would wager that if the others were interviewed, it was separately as well. But mainly, why would Ken be hanging out with the others for an interview? That doesn't make sense. Surely they wouldn't all be available at the same time. And with Ken.

Stawp.

Pffffft. She loves to air her personal **** and dirty laundry in public forums. The interview at the heart of this thread is basically just her trashing Lindsey. Deserved or not, that's what she's doing.

Everyone's on stage doing their own thing... I'm certain PLENTY of things have happened over the years, that they didn't all notice.

I would think that someone throwing their guitar at another band member is something that's pretty hard to miss.

Trashing? Wow, I just thought the reporter asked her about it, and she said what happened. Unfortunately, Lindsey's actions and attitude at the time trashed themselves when relayed here.
Oh, do you mean she shouldn't have answered so candidly?

I see that she can answer candidly about the ****ty behavior of others, but she can't candidly answer when exactly she quit cocaine. What's good for the goose is not good for the gander when it comes to her, I suppose.
