I must admit my experience of meeting Stevie was great... she was everything I imagined. If she didn't come across that way to you maybe it was because you took her by surprise? She probably didn't expect a huge Stevie fan to be in the tent?

i didn't pull any big fan moves... No im a hhuge fan, no squals, very clm voice not high tones any of it... No matter coz i've decided im going to meet her when she comes back in feb!

Please don't think I was suggesting that you did. Just a thought that maybe she wasn't expecting to come across a fan in the tent.

I hope you can get to meet her next year and that you have a better experience!

I'm jealous! That is a fantastic picture, just keep that image in your mind. I have a feeling McManus and his people don't understand how much Stevie means to us and how much we mean to her. He might not be used to someone being so open with her fans.
But what I'd do, is have the pic blown up poster size!!!

Yeah, the picture is quite nice. Stevie is smiling, which is great. You look nice and your dress is very pretty too. Forget what's-his-name.

Jayne! Absolutely stunning picture of you with Stevie. You both look beautiful and I am thoroughly jealous.

You know, someone posted something earlier that made me think. The last time I saw Stevie (this past tour) I was lucky enough to get front row (well, actually it was 3rd row, but we made it front row). I was so excited I could hardly contain myself. The whole day of the show, I couldn't eat- I was a total wreck. When she first walked out on stage and everyone was screaming, she had the most radiant smile on her face. That's pretty much all I really remember about being that close to her (other than the edge walk where I FINALLY got to touch her hand- she's always avoided me in the past- heh). ANYway, my point? I had a major feeling of disappointment afterward that could not be explained. I think after a few days, you'll start to settle down. That picture is really beautiful (as was your whole outfit!) and I think over time you will come to treasure it.

As much as you're feeling down, just think of that picture. You should feel lucky that you even got that!

You couldn't have asked for a better photo!! You both look gorgeous!

ETA: Just re-read some stuff. Don't feel bad about not asking her questions. I've been there. My expectations are ALWAYS high for any event I go to...and I'm usually let down, not always, but usually. It's hard not to be excited and then, when something goes wrong, you are depressed about it. It will pass, trust me.

You will have more chances when Stevie comes back for her tour next year.
