That really depends on who "most" people are that you're talking to. Catholicism in general tends to be pretty centrist. Yes, it leans heavily to the right as far as sexual issues are concerned, but as our Boy Next Door pointed out, the Catholic Church's stances on war and the death penalty and other such issues are very liberal. JP2 also knew that evolution happened, which is more than can be said for a lot of non-Catholic Christian leaders...

But I agree with what you said on JP2...very centrist. And I have always believed in evolution. It doesn't take away from my belief in God or The Word AT ALL! I love being Catholic!
