If you would go back and read where Ann states this in "Slander" you would see. You would also see that she quotes Couric’s entire opening phrase from September 27, 1999 and even states to the reader that Couric WAS referring to the Edmund Morris book...which we know already! But it all has to do with wording and tone my friend.

This is boring me now. I can only run in circles with someone a few times before I get tired of doing so. The only thing left for me to do is to combat that scary pic of Coultergeist with a lovely one of Anderson Cooper in the hopes that it nullifies the bad karma that her pic is emanating:
