Most definitely. Starbucks, American Airlines, Discover Card, you name it. She's a whore, but I love her.

I don't, either. What in the world would she use Stevie for? She's already got a huge audience (including the youth audience) and sells millions more records.

And that's not even a falsetto. Wasn't the song Wild Heart produced by Gordon Perry, though?

You have to admit in retospect, the vocal on Leaving Las Vegas is horrific in comparison to what Sheryl's actually capable of.

Now listening to "shoot an apple off my head" from Clocks is enjoyable.

P.S. Coldplay sucks.

That said, I respect Sheryl's musical talent and dedication--and I own some of her clothes, , so I can't hate on her too much.
I thought it was Planets Of The Universe.

Safe And Sound is incredible. It's one of those songs that play in my head a lot.

I like a lot Sheryl Crow, and think she did a wonderful work with TISL, she did an awesome job with BN demos, IMO and wrote for Stevie a truly great song. I also appreciate her as a solo artist. Moreover, her performance at MTV awards in 2002, singing "Safe And Sound" was really a poweful moment.

Like I've said before, that song is oddly juxtaposed to a recent national tragedy. It's just weird timing in my mind and something about it wasn't "right". It grew on me though.

A lot of that first album is rather horrific in retrospect. She blew me away with her follow-up in '96. A Change, Every Day Is A Winding Road, Love Is A Good Thing, If It Makes You Happy, Sweet Rosalyn, Redemption Day, Home, Hard To Make A Stand, Oh Marie, etc. That sucker is jaw-droppingly good and still holds up. It's her masterpiece, imo, which says a lot because Globe Sessions is amazing.

Ms. Crow, by re-recording a song you write for someone else, you take away the sweetness of doing it in the first place... Was "It's Only Love" REALLY written for Stevie??
That never made sense to me either.

She should have known It's Only Love was not single material. It's a ballad. Ms. Crow has very good ideas about what gets played on the radio.
