Maybe they'll release the album sooner.

I did not like the single cover for If Anyone Falls at all. I want a real album cover

Looks like her sleeves, but Lori may wear the same kind of top as Stevie. From the little I can see, from the position, those hands could be given to pain or inflammation and I think Stevie gets that in her hands.

I think a single will be released by August. Hopefully the release date and album cover will be released as well.

Part of me genuinely suspects that she's going to pull a "Beyonce," and we'll just wake up one day to the album being available on iTunes and Amazon.

Just too much!!! Can't believe this is actually happening. A year ago I never would've thought we'd get a new album so quickly!

That CD has my birthday on it. It's interesting there is no title for the album on the disc. I wonder if that's on purpose, or if a title hasn't been decided yet?

All the teases are killing me! But I'm so excited the album is done! Wouldn't it be cool if this album was just a hold over for fans until she can get in the studio and work on all new material?

Since it's just a "reference" CD (commonly used to determine how the final mastering sounds in CD format), it makes sense that they didn't title it. Dave has kept referring to this project as "24 Karat Gold" so I'd bet that's what they're going to go with. But who knows? An 11th hour "change up" wouldn't surprise me in the least with this woman.

If they genuinely want to release the album by October or November, then they would NEED to release a single in August. I hope that happens.

Right? It's hard to believe that (if they stay true to their word) this album is basically three or four months away from dropping! Considering they started recording here in Nashville a mere 3 months ago in April and are already finished...if it's released in October/November that breaks it down to Stevie starting an album and releasing it to the public within 6/7 months. I think that has got to be a world record for her. solo-wise. Hahaha!

Right?? And more, not since OSOTM--25 years ago!--has Stevie released a solo album so soon after her last release!

I don't think any of her projects have ever been recorded and released so quick, with the exception of Fleetwood Mac's "White Album" from '75. Recording started in February and the project was released in July. 5 MONTHS!!! But then, they weren't really considered a "super group" back when that album came out.

WH may be the closest in terms of timing, but I've always been a bit confused as to when and for how long the WH sessions ran.

In the Wild Heart interview with Jim Ladd, Stevie is quoted as saying, "This record took us twelve days to record, but we had to wait around for all the musicians for one whole year."

I'm not sure of the length of time it was in between the recording of the album and the release date, though. It's been speculated that a lot of overdubs and re-recording took place afterward, so who knows?

Wikipedia says, "Recording began in late 1982, shortly after the end of Fleetwood Mac's Mirage Tour. After the death of her best friend, Robin Anderson, and with new appreciation for her life and career, the recording took only a few months and the album was released in June 1983, preceded by the single "Stand Back", to much critical acclaim."

If late 1982 means Nov or Dec, then that puts it at about 6/7 months for the length of that project from start to release date as well ~ same as this project.

Finally, the album title has been revealed! 'Album Reference." I love it. So direct and relevant!
