Yep. I used to live there *sigh*. That's why I have to go there all the time in the summer, because I am from a place with rivers, too, and I really can't bear not to swim in them all summer. SF doesn't really have any, and it's cold here all summer anyway.

Yeah, she actually looks way hotter than that, too.

You can't tell in the pic, but she has these amazing calf muscles. People actually compliment her on them out on the street. Great legs, I'm so jeal!

You and your friend both look great, Amber. And I just can not get over how beautiful the area is, it really makes me wish I lived somewhere like that, but no, I'm stuck w/ Pittsburgh, home of 3 disgusting rivers

Thanks. Yeah, I kind of feel bad that some people can never go and swim in a place like this. The town I grew up in had all these great rivers, too. I feel very lucky, actually.

That river is only about a 15 min. drive from downtown Chico, and then, They have Bidwell Park (biggest park west of the mississippi), and a river runs through the park - at the beginning of the park, they cemented off a big area of the river, so it's like a giant pool, and that place is only a five minute walk from my friends house.

Wow, that sounds really nice. I have a river running right behind my apartment, but I don't think I'd ever swim in it, LOL. Let's just say it's not quite as nice a river as the one in your pics. I see people fishing in it all the time, but I don't know if they actually eat the fish they catch in it.

Hmmm, a river near Chicago? I'm not sure either....

It's nice to have it by where you live, though.

We also went to this campout party at this guys house that was about a 20 minute drive from Chico, and he had a big creek right on his property, that he could just swim in all the time, whenever he wanted, and his kids played in it and stuff. I went in, it was very warm. Anyway, I thought that was really, really cool.

It's like a swimming pool, but way, way better.

It is. I swear, it's the funnest town, evah! And then you go out, and you always see people you know, and if you don't, you'll know someone by the end of the night, and everyone talks to you, and all the bars and the eating places are in the same three blocks right by the campus. There's lots of cute lesbians, too!!

And in the summer, everyone's in good shape and scantily clad. We were out one night, and this girl comes up to the bar, and she was wearing low cut cammo pants, and a black string bikini top.

She looked really good, though, and actually that's fairly normal. It's really hot, there. Oh, but if you move there, you are required to get tattoos...
