I found out a few years ago she was actually married to Jim Kerr. I never even knew that and I love both.

So, I kind of think that Eric would be scrounging around town quite a bit in those days.
Leon's (former) home was also a famous recording studio used by everyone in Tulsa...Hell, even the Beatles used it.

Recently a master tape once owned by Jamie Oldaker surfaced on DIME with one of those infamous jams from Leon's home studio featuring Russell, Cale, Clapton, Oldaker and other Tulsa musicians - I need to relocate the info for that tape.

(Edit: Couldnt find that tape listed on DIME anymore, But I recall Bonnie Bramlett, Delaney Bramlett & Bobby Keys also participating in that jam.)

I long for the ol' days when 97.5 KMOD would play Leon's radio station trademark song "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" (KMOD was the 'Rainbow station'), Great days back in the 70's/80's for Tulsa in the music scene.

Btw, Bob Seger's drummer back in the early Silver Bullet Band David Teegarden was a Tulsan as was Lynyrd Skynyrd's Steve Gaines (Who died on Oct.20,1977 in the infamous plane crash that killed Skynyrd singer Ronnie Van Zant, tour manager Dean Kilpatrick & Gaines sister Cassie who was a background singer - What a f**ked 24 hour period that was Oct.20-21,1977, the Skynyrd plane crash on the 20th, The Muskogee Stockyards near our home burnt to the ground later on the 20th and then the car wreck which killed my Dad was on the 21st.)

I never knew that the Cure's Robert Smith was a member of Siouxsie and the Banshees for a short period of time.

Who is now JJ Cale's percussionist (and who appears all over the new Cale/Clapton album)

Correct. Sid Vicous of Sex Pistols fame was also an early member as well...

Ellie Greenwich penned several great girl group tunes, but also sang on a few songs on Blondie's Eat To The Beat. Name one of the songs.

Which former Stevie back-up singer went on to have a #1 Hit duet with Phil Collins? Name the song too...Name the song she also recorded for the film "Streets Of Fire?" Who lip synched the song in the movie?
