Maybe I just have the thickest hair in the world and I don't get it but still...fake hair? No one's hair is that long...JLH had come too.

WOW, Mariah is amazing! WOW! I didn't think she could do it anymore.

Those notes! They stood for her.
Like my girl Teri just said..."We have all just been saved"

I think it's well documented that I love Mariah. BUT...I think this performance was blah. Hair, sucked, dress, sucked, fake tan, sucked.

The performance was ok, but boring in my opinion, as far as what she's capable of. There were sections, mainly the challenging ones, that were clearly a "live pre-recording" much like what Janet Jackson does (that biotch ain't sang a live note in her career). It's the Grammy's - she shouldn't have any backing tracks or pre-recordings at all.

all that said, I still love her...

come on, Brandon, bring it - don't hate me cause I'm beautiful

I'm not a fan of Mooriah, but I thought that was a great performance.

Yay, Kelly! Girl is on fi-yah tonite. Would it have killed Bonnie Raitt to crack a smile?

Terri Hatcher looked great - wasn't crazy about the dress, but her hair and makeup looked good!

OT: My cat now loves oatmeal. I just ate some, and he wouldn't leave me alone. Of course, I let him lick the bowl. :

she is entirely too thin. I agree she looked fabulous, I just hope she's healthy.

You are crazy! The dress was one of her best...in a LONG time! The hair was a tad too long...but not so blonde (which I'm thankful for)...and speaking of "live pre-recording"...can we say MADONNA!?

Mariah was fake? Ohhhhhhhhhhh I thought it was totally live. She kept cracking and killing herself to hit notes...I thought that was real.

Madonna was mostly real...I mean her singing was ...ok. That song isn't a real singing song tho...( Hung Up)

JJ LOL...I would die if I ever heard her sing life...same with her brother. REALLY annoying. I want real...if it's off who cares...at least it's real.

Exclamation Hmmm...

Keith Urban sounded alright...But Faith Hill sounds dreadful, But at least KU's backup band is carrying her through.

Mariah's WAS live...I ususally can tell when Mariah is using pre-recorded live vocals...and this one seemed TOTALLY LIVE!

Brandon may be able to pinpoint better than me, but the cracks are kinda the point, tho I don't know why. I for sure heard clips of album recording in there and parts where the voice didn't match the breathing pattern.

sorry...I'm a lipsynch guru (or at least I think I am)

and I love that freaking song. she looked like she was just going through the motions. put the damn guitar down too girl - that was odd.

she should've done like we never loved at all with keith - that would have rocked! I'm pissed that we got shorter time with keith so we could have that crappy "duet"
