What is the best sex music?

Just so we don't have to keep preverting Paula's thread...

Sparky and Diss have already mention the likes of Blondie, Judas Priest, David Byrne, and Echo and the Bunnymen.

What gets you "in the mood"?

Music never gets me in a sexual mood. Its a mix of two different worlds for me.

Donna Summer - Love to love you baby

Sarah · #5 12-16-2005, 06:22 PM

anything portishead, and anything depeche mode.

Blondie?! No way!

I would have to say anything blues-y. Otis Redding is definitely a good choice. In fact, the entire Dirty Dancing soundtrack suffices.

'I Feel You'

The list goes on and on..

Oh yeah, the new single 'A Pain That I'm Used To' is pretty good banging music too...

Bryan Ferry's "Slave To Love"
Atlanta Rhythm Section's "So Into You"
Otis Redding's "These Arms of Mine"
Tracy Chapman's "Smoke and Ashes"
Peggy Lee's "Fever"
Solomon Burke's "Cry To Me"

That is all I can think of for now. I know that there is a lot more.

Barry White

Well, it gets the ladies in the mood. Guys are almost always in the mood. Barry is the difference between a little fun and the greatest time I've ever had!

Some songs that come to mind:

The Killing Moon - Echo and the Bunnymen
Stay - Oingo Boingo
Poison Arrow - ABC
You Spin Me Round - Dope
Floods - Flin Flon
Jumpers - Flin Flon
Queer - Garbage
Pretty Baby - Blondie
Orchid Club - Blondie
Cautious Lip - Blondie (though it can be a bit too freaky at times)
Something In the Air - David Bowie
Lots of Franz Ferdinand

pure genius. the flowy melodic rhythym of Orchid Club is amazing; must listen to it now.

Something In the Air is fabulous too...especially the American Psycho remix.

The tribal drumbeats, the sounds of jungle animals, the increasing power of her voice, the way the rhythm seems to become more abrasive as it moves along, etc. Pure magic. By the time it climaxes with that incredible amalgamation of her howling & screaming & singing at the top of her lungs all in one breath, I lose it. Drives me wild.

That's the one I generally play. I wasn't too keen on the album version after I heard it on the American Psycho soundtrack (which has "You Spin Me Round" by Dope that I also listed because it's fab).
