Default Favorite Cities in the U.S

I know not everyone will have an opinion about this, but what the hell.

I've had a chance to travel quite a bit and I wanted to share my favorite 3 cities in the country I've been to. (Besides Minneapolis of course, which will always be #1 for me )

#1.Boston. Besides being the home of my favorite baseball team, Boston has so much to offer in such a small area. I mean, I can walk around there for likesd weeks at a time and never be bored. The Boston Common alone, along with the public garden next to it are top places to see, along with the freedom trail. And then there's the FOOD!!!!!!, a subject very near and dear to this fat fag's heart....(6'4, 265) The North End, OH MY,the best Italian food I've ever eaten bar none. And then there's my other fav, seafood, or is it see food? The Union Oyster house, along with many other establishments have been eaten at by yours truly, and they've never dissapointed. Boston, #1

#2. Pittsburgh. Everytime I tell my friends this is one of my favorite cities to visit they look at me weird and say "What the F**K are u talkin about?" I say to them "You need to enlighten yourselves.." Pittsburgh is to me one of the most picturesque cicites going. You've got the 2 rivers coming together at Point State Park, a place I always spend time at when I'm in the Steel City. Then there's the Baseball park, PNC Park. The finest sports venue in the country in my opinion. You can look out over the right field fence and have the river and downtown right in front of you. And as far as food goes, mmm those Primanti brothers sandwiches. with the meat fries and wahtever else they can stuff into them, this is not for the clogged of arteries. Pittsburgh, #2

#3. San Diego. To me, bar none the best city in California. It never seems to ever get above or below between 65-75 degrees, and the Gaslamp district is a real treat with it's many great resturants. Also, a very safe city to talk in at night, and least in downtown where I was. Oh, and San Diego is also the first place I ever saw Fleetwood Mac in the front fow in 2003. San Diego, #3.

So there's a little sampling of my opinions, for whatever that's worth. And, no I dont work for the travel channel........ HAHA PLease feel free to share your opinions as to places youve all been to

pittsburgh kinda makes me want to die. :x

i've lived here all my life. i love certain parts of the city, like the south side, and squirrel hill, but other than that, ergh. i've lived in cranberry, zellienople, bellevue, and sharpsburg, and i didn't really like any of them that much. i guess since i've lived here so long, i just don't get it. to most visitors, it's like, the most amazing thing ever because we have so many hills. haha.

i will admit, the local music scene is pretty good. and the billions of record shops. but, i still prefer cleveland and philly, so yeah. we do have eat & park here which isn't too bad for cheap food, but i cannot stand primantis. i also hate the steelers. i am obviously not a real pittsburgher.

Surely you jest? San Diego is not even a real city compared to San Francisco .a true world class cosmopolitan center that could hold it's own with Paris or Rome.San Diego is more like a Midwestern city that happens to be located on the California coast.

I agree with 2 and 3. I have never been to 4 so I don't know. 1 is only OK in certain areas.

Exclamation Hmm...

Favorite City in the US....I don't know really. I love my hometown because it's laid-back and cool (Fort Worth, Texas).

The cities I've been to that I love are:

Estes Park, Colorado
Telluride, Colorado
Gatlinburg, Tennessee
Galveston, Texas
Asheville, North Carolina
Eureka Springs, Arkansas (the ONLY city in AR I can tolerate)
Tuscon, Arizona
Albuquerque, New Mexico

Exclamation Lol

I probably should have said Phoenix. We went to see the fountain in Fountain Hills and then went down through Tuscon too. My family went through Arizona back in 1998 on the way to Vegas and California. Saw the Grand Canyon and the seguaros. I LOVE Arizona and want to go back. Our trip was in October, so the weather was pleasant really.
