Oh well...
I can't see her doing any solo shows over here again either. Damn shame....

I don't know when the first one was taken, but the 2nd one is from January 1995 after the inauguration.

I don't like to see anyone that out of shape!
Thank you for cropping the gray streak out of her hair in the second photo. I love what she is wearing there and still think she is beautiful in that photo anyway.
Why was she wearing that dark wig in the first photo?

I love it too. It looks to be a very deep purple or blue. I can't tell.

I believe it's from a private show at the Hard Rock in London. TOSOTM era. I am also pretty sure the hair's a wig.

Default Wigs

Yes, that is a wig, Stevie has a ton of them. I saw some in a magazine, was it "Vox"? I believe it was some UK magazine, she had some on "wig heads"..I love the "Timespace" wig on her, also the one she wore on the "Aresenio Hall Show" was really pretty, pale ivory layered. I am sure she gets tired with the hair, and enjoys variety, and her wigs and extensions make it much easier, and less damaging to her real hair.

You mean that wasn't her real hair on the cover of Timespace? I thought she died it..

Default Wigs

Yes, I am positive it was a wig, similar in style/look to :
This One, only in the medium golden brown colour.
She also wore it for the "Street Angel" against the wall outtakes...it is very very thick, which is one giveaway to spot a wig. Very few people have such full, thick hair all the way to the ends.

~Bright blessings, Barbara~

When I saw her in Charlotte this month, I thought she looked exceptionally beautiful, but I definitely would not call her "thin". I mean, she just looks normal to me. After hearing everyone saying how much weight she'd lost, I was expecting her to be ultra thin. Anyway, I'll just add to the sentiment that she looked very sexy and beautiful.

I kind of like this picture but the shoulder pads are horrible! I think they make her look even heavier than she was.

Obviously this was back before she discovered girdles. That spare tire looks like it came off a Mack truck!!

looking back, the SA tour was pretty kick-ass... at the time, yes she was heavier than she is now... but she was not at her heaviest during that tour...

and if you would like, i could send you a copy of both the "Whole Lotta Trouble" tour from 1991 and the "Street Angel" tour from 1994 so you can compare...

Hon,
I've seen Stevie at least 44 times on her own and with FM and I've been at the front of the stage many times. I remember what she looked like and I have my own pics. I know what I'm talking about. No disrespect for your opinion.

I know. But we only talk about her like this because we love her. If anyone else does it they'll get their eyes scratched out by Stevie fans. Know what I mean. Family can dish about family but outsiders can't. Stevie knows she wasn't well and she knows most of us stuck by her no matter how she looked.

I despise the wigs, she doesn't need them and they look too fake.

Yeah she's still a pretty, pert lady. But if she walked into my gym, I'd crank up the friction & the slope on her treadmill, & then get her pumped up with some heavy-duty strength-training -- lemme hear y'all ... LOW REPS, HIGH WEIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd also cut as much sodium as possible out of her diet, & take her off that damn Atkins regimen.
