Maybe he was disgusted by the fact that Stevie refused to sing "I ain't waiting" with him, insisting on "I'm not waiting" EVERY SINGLE TIME. What was up with that? It totally annoys me. Sing the right lyrics, Stevie. I have to wonder if it wasn't some kind of act of defiance since she continued to do it.

Yeah, Ray Lindsey's been around since the 70s to lend a helping hand during GYOW and such, but it still sounded real and raw. There's no comparison to the current travelling circus.

Was the Mac out on stage the whole time, even during this?

I only wish it were better quality. The one I have makes them sound like they're all underwater.

You should post sometime. It's hard to find partial shows these days on the web.

It was part of their set. Christine & Lindsey were playing the song while Don & Stevie sang it -- Chris on Yamaha CP-30 & Lindsey on acoustic.

Christine & Lindsey couldn't be bothered to learn the chords, so they essentially ad lib. But there was probably hardly any rehearsing since the band was flying around the country on a tour.

He said that tongue and cheek, but you could use that as an arguement to say it is possible.
No, I didn't think *relationship*, as in love relationship. I was trying to figure out the timeline when Dennis hooked up with Lindsey's gf and wondered if maybe Chris and Lindsey hooked up for a short time. For no other purpose than to satisfy my morbid curiosity. I have a strange habit of watching these and analyzing their moves. I may be alone in that little obsession. I don't think they'd be compatible for a long-term thing.

It's been floating around for years. I have a really good copy of it that I'll try to send to Brian for torrenting once I get back to town.

I'd like somebody to step forward with a top-notch recording of the show Stevie did at Irvine Meadows the following year.

Did she? Ok, I have to go back and watch this again.

I posted it on my site, http://www.buckinghamnicks.net, but the quality pretty much sucked. I look forward to hearing David's.
