Wowza, good for you. I've also been cleaning rearranging. I built a small cabinet yesterday (pre-fab) and have a little more storage space now which will help alot.

I hope you get some bites from your resumes. If you don't try not to get discouraged and try networking and other word of mouth tactics.

Last night we cleared everything out of our bedroom so they could tear a hole in my roof to start the addition. We will be living in our basement on a futon for a couple of weeks.

BTW - Neil Diamond rocks my world.

I slept a lot yesterday - my Saturday was wrecked because I ended up having to work due to the Pope's death - so yesterday I slept late, then got up - ate breakfast - read for a while - then fell asleep again - got up - talked to people on the phone - pet my dog - then read, then watched Desperate Housewives...then read again - then went to bed

I'm battling some allergies or a small cold or something hence the excessive amounts of sleeping....hopefully this weekend I can go shopping oh and maybe clean a little.

Last night I watched Closer for the second time. The first time I saw it, I remember feeling pretty defeatist about relationships (the fact that it seems being in one is as bad as being without one). But I went on with my life business as usual. But last night when I saw it, it really affected me in a bad way. It made me think that there is just no hope. There is no love. There are no connections. It made me very sad - so sad that I downloaded Damien Rice's "Blowers Daughter" and cried my eyes out. I haven't cried for a really long time. I actually cried myself to sleep. This is something I haven't done since college I think. So, today, I'm kinda under water. Tired. Bitchy. Sad. Lame. Love is hard to find.

I'm sorry you were so sad. much love from me. I approve of crying, though, it's very good for you. Yeah, life can be pretty LAME, sometimes you just have to cry.
Thanks for the heads up about Closer, I might have actually seen it, somehow, even though Horsey Roberts is in it, and I try to avoid her.

muwah.

I would cry, too, if I was forced to endure Closer a second time.

I kid, I kid. It's actually *much* better than I had originally thought when I saw it in the theater. Mr. Ed is still absolutely atrocious, though. You just know she was horrified when she had to say those lines about come and oral sex, you can see it on her face when she's yelling at Clive Owen. But it's saved simply for the sex chatroom scene and the scene in the lap dance room; you could cut the tension in that scene with a knife, it was phenomenal. Love Natalie Portman, love Clive Owen, and love Jude Law (almost full-frontal at the end!). Too bad Cate Blanchett dropped out and they gave her role to Mr. Ed.

Yes, muah. That ****e is just a movie, there is love in the world it is just not as easy as scandal to exploit on the big screen. However, there is plenty of bunk out there too, hence my hesitation to begin dating after already being single for 3 1/2 mos. It's really confusing and messy and sometimes I just prefer my simple life with my kitty, lol. But spring is coming so that is the time for mating, uh, dating that is.

The great thing about crying is how cleansing it can be, it really helps you to feel better. I haven't done it for a while. I mourned my relationship while I was still in it so by the time I was out, I was done. I get sad though because it's like, what the hell happened to it? It's just gone. Oh crap, here come the tears. Dammit.

Ooooohhhh, you've been single for 3 1/2 whole months?! You poor thing! Wah, Wah!
Just teasing you Suze. Plus, I'm bitter.

Oh, and what I did tonight. Well, it's only 7:30, but I wasn't able to avoid that damn nap this evening! Which commenced around 6 and just ended. Gawd, I probably have Cancer or something. Why would I be that tired?
Anyhoo, I'm going to send out more resumes and clean more stuff and read more things and ledge a bit.

At least you don't 'nap' at like 7PM and wake up at 1AM and stay up intil 3am and then try to sleep until 6:30am.

No, you're right, I usually nap from 7-9 or ten, stay up till 3 or 4...that's way better... But I usually take 1/2 tylenol pm around 1-2 if I'm still awake. I'm actually thankful that tonights nap was short, and early.
Is that what happens to you? Gaw!

You definitely have cancer. Definitely cancer. Are you sad lately? When my mind is too full of thought, it makes you me tired. I'm still a wreck by the way. When is something good going to happen in my f-ing life?!!!

Still? Gosh, my moods usually only last about 5 min to an hour. I'm sorry. I don't know when something good will happen - you're asking the wrong person. Here's a cheesy non comforting phrase "Your life will change if you change."
Good ol' Cancer.
Um, i'm filled with ennui, but not exactly sad, lately. When my mind is full of thought, it doesn't make me tired, but awake. Actually, I think I haven't been eating enough veggies is the problem, really. Most things boil down to nutrition. Maybe it's the fact that last night I "only" got about 6-7 hours of sleep? hehehehe.
I hope you feel better soon. Maybe you should read some Calvin and Hobbes to cheer you up. That's what I like to do. Also, if you are in a funk, some vigorous exercise will provide your body with endorphins, which will elevate your mood. Woiks every time.

Muwah, deux.

Wow, I just checked my messages, and someone already called about my Resume!!!!! Amazing! It was an architect firm, not one of the law firms, though, but still! pretty cool. At least I know my resume probably doesn't suck...
