I love my frikkin' trees (Birch & Dutch Elm), but I hate this time of the year because once it starts storming my trees will once again either get hit by lightning or toppled by the wind...Happens every year, every single $%^&*% year.

I got it the first time.
Have them put you on counter duty tomorrow at Dipstix. I think you've had your head in the fryer a bit too much.

Wow...I hope they're not in falling distance of your house?

Fabulous and evidently brilliant as well since you understood the first time

I wish I worked at the fictional Dipstix you speak of. Unfortunately, I was forced into working tomorrow on my day off so i'll be booking appointments until 5pm tomorrow.

:looks at clock:

Yea...I need to be awake in 5 hours. Too bad i'm not tired

-Equally Fabulous and Brilliant Marissa.

Now how are you going to explain to dissention that you're booking your own appointments?

Dissention and I have since parted ways. I work for myself now...that way, I don't have to share a cut

The view out of my second-floor home office is my own front yard and the neighbor's side yard & driveway. There's a big ole' pine tree in my front yard and I get to see squirrels chase each other up and down the tree, see my neighbors and their dogs walking down the street, and I get a really nice view of the azaleas and the dogwoods blooming this time of year.

I suppose that's how I'd picture South Carolina if I were asked.

It's not LA, it's Long Beach. Don't get those confused again. (Robert Plant made the mistake of saying "Good Evening, Los Angeles" when Led Zeppelin played the Long Beach Arena in 1974 and almost got booed off the stage)

I meant to say California.
I'm assuming that word is safe.

It can be REALLY noisy at times- depending on which act is playing at the House of Blues. Sometimes the crowds can get very rowdy. But after 10 years of living here, I'm used to it. I went camping last year in the Sequoias and it was so quiet, I couldn't fall asleep.

I wouldn't trade living in the city for anything. Unless I become a millionaire and can afford a HUGE mansion in beautiful New England, or something like that- Europe, maybe.

DREAM ON!!

I can't imagine living in your present area is cheap, either.
