I was leaning more towards doing a documentary project, that's why I can't work out how I could do it. I know I could advertise on the British Legion website so I might give that a go. I guess if I started the idea would kind of just develop itself. Right now for my final major I am doing a documentary style project looking at England now, and exploring stereotypes and what makes us English/British. Hmmmm.

Maybe you could almost transplant your final major idea into what the stereotypes were of that day and what the people of that time feels makes/made them British? Then you could do a comparison or something?
I got a few more roles developed, getting the pics tomorrow!

My tutor will kill me if i change my final major idea again ahaha. I think I've got it figured now how I could do it as a totally different project. Maybe I could use it for my final major at university aswell because I have to start work on it end of my first year because i'm going straight into second year.

Ohh awesome, I haven't picked up my lomo in so long.

Nah mate, I didn't mean completely change your final major, that would be mental. Wouldn't want to give Ian any troubles.
It sounds funky, let me know how it goes boss!!

Owen said that despite the fact that I was slaughtered when I took the pictures they are the best I've ever done. *slightly confused*

JTIS...

That I'm thinking about going back to school.....I wanna go for Business Management/Accounting at the Community College we have here...I went to the school before when I graduated high school but didnt finish my degree because I chose to go to Hair School instead...

Well now that I am working in a salon I've come to the conculsion that I do not want to do this as my career my whole life. My mom was right this whole time saying "You should finish your degree so you have something to fall back on" and of course I was like "no mom! I'm fine!" I hate it when moms are always right lol

Anyway, so thats what I am thinking....I figure I'll look for a job and when i get one I'll quit the salon.I cant afford to not work so I have to have a job before I quit the one that I have....then work my ass off and then go to school in the fall and such.

Thinking about going to school actually makes me excited.

I've come to the conclusion that Marlene Dietrich was the most wonderful woman to ever grace this earth.

for a state job working at a hospital with people who suffer from mental illness, so I can relate to what they are going through, so wish me luck.

Nope, totally one of a kind. Marlene on screen was something, but Marlene on stage was even better i think ! Everyone was looking at this lady who couldn't even really sing by the end of her life, but it was mesmerizing. Femme fataaale

YES!!! Her voice wasn't the best but my god she had something else. Those eyes, that figure that accent. Honestly one of the most beautiful people to ever live but she was so much more than her looks. I love how much she did for the troops too.

Did you ever hear about that story of her wanting to seduce Edward so he didn't go with Wallis? Something about doing it for England, a country she loves. No idea how true it is though.

Oh my God no i haven't heard of that, my Marlene fandom is kind of new, but i'm trying to learn more about her. I ordered her daughter's book, can't wait to read it, don't know if you have...
I'm actually more familiar with her music than her movies, though the Blue Angel (especially!), The devil is a woman, Morocco and Judgment at Nuremberg are some of my favorites.
I admire what she's done during WW2, but somehow, it's not what i find the most interesting. Her relationship with her homecountry, however...
Damn i think i could talk about her for hours.
