You know the song Lyin' Eyes by The Eagles? You ever notice how Stevie stole the melody of that song to create Gypsy? Don't believe it? You can sing Gypsy right along with it.

Lyin' Eyes is one of my favorite Eagles songs and of course Gypsy is my favorite Mac song. They do kinda have a simple melody/structure to them. I'll have to listen to them more closely tonight.

Thanks to the letter I wrote requesting donations to my local newspaper which was printed a couple of weeks ago, my sanctuary has received over a thousand pounds in donations. Is it arrogant to be kind of proud that my letter received such a positive response?

People on Facebook keep accusing me of being a friend of Stevie Nicks. I wish, if enough people were to say it, that it would come true. Then I can ask her in a friendly manner why her fandom seems to attract quite a lot of freaks. Most of her fans are normal and fine. But some are just so damn ropey.

I have lots of errands to run today in town. Was meant to leave an hour ago, but my warm house is far more appealing to me than venturing out in the cold!

Christine Mcvie sounds so much more magical when it's raining outside.

I did all my errands in just under two hours. Yess. I went and got some photos printed, posted my friends x mas prezzies (hope she likes them) and got some photo frames. I have tons of work to do though so it's not really much of an x mas break, sort of just working from home lol.

For the past 2 weekends, the pub where I work has been having party nights, on which one member of waiting on staff has to stay on until 1am or so. Both Saturdays this has been me. Last week, I found myself eating a chinese that we'd had delivered to the pub while sitting on a table, in sweets and starters, at midnight with the landlord's wife having a really deep conversation.

This weekend, I did the dance to Making Your Mind Up in the kitchen.

Two weirdest shifts of my life, seriously.
