Meh. This season has been a drag overall.

- Blake performed well on the Bon Jovi song. He did okay on "She Will Be Loved," but as Jazzy said, a faster-paced song would have been better. I actually thought he did a decent job with that horrid "winning" contest song.

- Jordin's performance of "Fighter" -- Blech. I knew she'd pick the Martina song, and she sang it well. The winner's song is always a sappy ballad, so she had a huge advantage there. And my goodness -- she is so good at standing, smiling, and wailing, she moves herself to tears. Yeah.

I think it's pretty obvious Jordin has it in the bag. I'm sure Blake will do very well for himself too.

What is with that? This year's wasn't so bad. Last year's song was a giant turd. Taylor probably just had to keep thinking about dollar signs to get himself through that song.

I don't watch AI but I heard that Daughtry was going to be on so I kept channel checking - totally engrossed with, sadly, the final episode of Veronica Mars. Since Daughtry didn't perfiorm until the end - from what pieces of AI I caught - I thought the young lady definitely was the better singer. And the young man - my gaydar seriously was going off.. his voice was sorta of weak. Since it's suppose to be a singing contest, I was surprised he was in the finals - but America voted.... :-)

oh.my.god. I know. she could barely finish the song. it was sickening. she's going to win, no doubt in my mind.

The cast didn't know? Yeah, it really was lackluster for a finale. I haven't been watching since the beginning of the season since my roommates don't like VM so I didn't really know what was going on in some scenes.

I went grocery shopping after work and watched the recording later - but they must have run over an hour, cuz the DVR cut off before Daughtry, and the footage Paula was talking about - the contestants who didn't win, but have still "made it."

If she had really broken her nose, she would have had 2, puffy, black and blue eyes. WTF?

Jordin's gonna win.

It was a phoned-in performance, but still more interesting than the rest of the night.

He's all I caught since I got home late. His performance did start late, at 9:00.
