I'm really liking the sound of the (albeit brief) clips we've heard so far. Stevie sounds in great voice, and I happen to enjoy the jangly sound some people are complaining about.

On this latest mystery clip, I hear:

IMO the vocals on these snippets so far sound stellar..We can say what we want about some of Dave's production choices but he has managed to coax the best vocals out of her on record in decades.

"24 karat gold...chains, chains, chains...my love (heart?)" I think this is solely 24 karat gold. I think people are mistaking the music and "my love" to mean it's a mix with If You Were My Love. It's not unusual for Dave to embelish on the music and make it much more jaunty. It's even less unusual for Stevie to throw in a "my love" and other similar sentiments in her songs. Either way, it sounds fantastic!

I like the sound of all the snippets but this is my favourite snippet so far - I love this one! I tried to listen to this the other day but I couldn't get any sound so I gave up I have since realised that I had my headphones plugged in, but not on on my head So its great to finally hear it. So excited about this album.

It sounds like she is finally letting loose a little bit with the vocals on this record. I loved IYD but the vocals were very controlled, she didn't let it rip too often. Passion!
