Gayle King, is she from another world???
cut her a break she's probably still grieving his death ,her mothers death , and talking about it is not easy , and she had little or no sleep having performed in Boston the night before

EDIT why is every thing she says dissected and put under a microscope?

gayle king is a cold interviewer i though Stevie did awesome yesterday on CBS but it's like she wanted to dig out more scandel of the drugs and sex stuff what is there to talk about it's all been out before and said and done stevie is far past that now.More should have been about her new cd and where is she touring next. I can't wait to see Stevie tonight so excited at the Mohegan Sun Arena love this casino and foxwoods too.

Stevie is far away from her drug years, Stevie should have did a ninja kick to gayle kings head and what about Stevie's publists where were they should have said no quiestions about the drug past and scandel past. How dear Gayle ask the quiestion whether she if she is more creative with the drugs or with out the drugs stupid quiestion really gayle.

I agree with you on this and Stevie really should given gayle king a ninja kick to her head for asking those quiestions.

Exactly! Like she wanted some confession that whatever Stevie did in the past was wrong. And, I don't think Stevie lives her life that way.

I always think it's funny when people question Stevie "never marrying" when she was, indeed, someone's wife (for a very short time, but still...) And there was something else that set off a red flag but I forgot what it was.

It will come to me later, I'm sure.

a friend used to work for Madonna and told me ,with all her clients Liz Rosenberg supplies all the questions that can be asked , or are approved by her and if at any point they veer from them the interview is stopped either by Ms. Rosenberg or an assistant of hers . no surprise questions ever notice the question are the same no matter who's doing the interview .

your right the quiestions are usually the same pretty much in every interview, I though gayle was very cold but that is the way gayle interviews too I guess. Still Stevie should have ninja kicked her anyway...lol

Gayle kept talking over Stevie and it so pissed me off!!! LOL....it's rude and unprofessional. She'd ask her a question and then proceed to talk again once Stevie started answering.

The unfortunate truth about CBS's morning programming is that it is perennially in last place in the ratings for a good reason; they just can't seem to hire the right on-air personalities for this timeslot. I never watch CBS in the morning, and this pretty much confirms why. The atmostphere in that studio was frosty- almost like an interrogation chamber. And witness the utter lack of chemistry and/or interaction between Erica Hill (who I believe has the most symmetrically perfect face I have ever seen) and Gayle King; they are practically seated in different zip codes. It's quite a contrast when compared with the informal, warm, personable vibe given off by the FOX morning program. What Gayle needs to realize is that this is Stevie Nicks, not the president of Syria. She needs to save her "gotcha!" style of interrogation for someone who has actually served a legitimate public disservice. I suspect that her interview style would be drastically different if she was speaking with someone on the list of "Oprah-approved" performers, e.g., Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Cher, etc. Unfortunately Oprah really doesn't get Stevie and accordingly she gets treated with the same level of respect as the Octomom.

So True, So True and Stevie is high above these people and it shows and she handles herself well not to stoop to there level in these interviews

Wasn't there some little snide comment when Stevie was on Oprah about Stevie being called Queen of Rock and Roll? I thought I saw reports that Oprah felt that it should be Tina Turner...

Gayle is of course Oprah's BFF, so...maybe there's some carryover with Gayle about Stevie not being all that or something.....

I agree.CBS morning show always had boring hosts.they can't match up with the Today show and GMA and Fox.I did not like the part when Gayle mentioned about everyone knows Stevie was having affair with Lindsey.I think Gayles probaly trying to get some more experience with this talk over style "gotcha!" type interviewing to get on 60 minutes some time in the future. Gayle is no Oprah. We know. She should stick to news reporting.

I vaguely remember something about that... but I also remember that Oprah did in fact call Stevie the Queen of Rock and Roll on the show.

I mean, I didn't think Gayle seemed like she didn't like Stevie at all. I just felt like Gayle was trying too hard to get some like juicy gossip story or something out of her. Let's be real, at this point, I think any juicy gossip we're gonna get -from any of them - is already out there. If she hasn't talked about something in the past 40 years I really don't think she's going to randomly blurt it out now.

Even when Gayle asked about all the hooking up between Fleetwood Mac members, Stevie literally would only talk about Lindsey, even after Gayle tried to nudge her in another direction by saying something like, "No no, you know what I mean, after that" and Stevie just kept talking about Lindsey lmao

And she definitely talked over Stevie a lot and wouldn't let her finish her stories, which is rude in my opinion.

Stevie was tired out with no or little sleep after the Boston show. She probably was pissed that Gayle talked over her as she was trying answer the questions. She's a pro She did not show she was pissed off or being tired.

FINALLY got to watch this. Stevie looked lovely and handled herself very well with what she had to work with. I still feel pride in being a fan.
