^^^
Lindsay, I also heard the radio ad for the show, I thought it was adorable at the end when Stevie says "thank you."

During the radio ad, in the background they are playing concert versions of her songs, I think there are 2 different ads, but at the end she's in concert saying thank you.

Also, they play a few of her old songs, no new songs, but they do mention her new album In Your Dreams is out now. Couldn't they play a second or two of one of her new songs?

At the Grove there is a huge poster of Chris Isaak, and I've seen Lindsey's upcoming show there advertised, I wonder if there will be enough time to promote Stevie's show there other than radio ads?

I think that's why the Wiltern wasn't sold out-no promotion. Also there weren't many people at Amoeba, again, no promotion. Last time she played Vegas, no promotion. Is this because things seem to be so last minute with her this year, or do people not want to put money out for her? I think it's strange.

I think it's a combo of last minute /poor planning, which is a shame.

Don't you know there's a HTERS restaurant across the street from the Grove?

You gotta have Del Taco when in the OC! It was born there after all! Plus, there seems to be one on every corner.

yay! i'm going!
i'm so excited, this'll be my first Stevie concert and i'm more than thrilled. and it's a little funny, but i'm gonna go by myself. do people go to concerts by themselves? well, no matter, it's almost better for me to go by myself so i can freak out and none of my friends can see me totally losing my mind. lol.
anyhow, i just bought my ticket last night, so if i'd seen your posting, sapphire sister, i woulda totally just bought your ticket off of you. as it is, i'll be in Tier 3.

Starting to get more and more excited!!!

I called the venue today. The girl I talked to sounded kinda dumb, but she answered a couple questions I had at least:

There were 275 tickets sold for the general admission floor area. She said they wouldn't know until that day if wristbands would be given or not. (I think they should, if even to make it easier on them when people want to go in and out to the restroom).
The doors open at 7pm.

Parking is $10, cash. She told me the lot should be open (at least when I get there between 4- 5:00 pm.)

There are restaurants, fast food and Starbucks across the street. So that means restrooms when we need them while we're in line.

See you guys there!

Jamie

Yes, Jamie, there is no shortage of all kinds of eateries right across the street.

And down the street on Katella, is a gentlemen's club named.....Fritz.
It's actually called Fritz That's Too.
