Ah.... I see it now. It just looked to me like Lindsey is falling over onto the floor and Stevie is trying to hold him upright.

The picture is a close up. In the wider shot, you can see that all 5 of them are together, spent but exuberant.

I don't have any pictures but I do remember reading that when Lindsey was on tour for, I believe, the "Gift of Screws", when he was in Phoenix, he dedicated a song to Barbara Nicks. She was in the audience that night. I think it's great to hear that Stevie's mom is so close to Lindsey that she would go to one of his solo shows. It makes sense since they were a part of each other's family for so long.

Lori and John Nicks were at his show last year too.

There's a picture of Stevie with Javier during SYW tour with Jeff Buckingham in the background.

I think Barbara went to 2 different UTS shows. One time Lindsey dedicated NGBA to her, which rather amused me. But at least he didn't say, "This is for you Barbara --" and break out with, "Think of me sweet darling . . ."

Then, one time Stevie said that one of the reasons that she could never stay mad at Lindsey was because: "My father adores Lindsey. Adores him. Lindsey can never go out of my life for that reason there, you know what I mean?"

Hmmm. Now that her dad is gone, I guess she and Lindsey can just be permanently estranged.

Another time she said: "[M]y mom and dad considered Lindsey and I married. So did I. So did he. Now Lindsey and I don't speak at all and I wouldn't bother to call because, if he did pick up the phone and it was me, he would hang up. It's a sad way to end a long, wonderful relationship."

I love that quote about Jess and Lindsey. I bet they conspired together against Stevie more than once.

That's a great quote from Stevie too. Maybe that's why she claimed he's not good on the phone - "not then, not now". Obviously, Lindsey's hang up on Stevie phase didn't last terribly long since according to him they are "joined at the hip".

Since he didn't want to speak to her on the phone, I'm a little surprised that she got him to serenade Bill Clinton by threatening never to talk to him again if he didn't. Wouldn't her not talking to him ever again be just the thing to keep him away from the inauguration completeley? Michele

Is that Jimmy Ivine (sic) just beyond Stevie's mother?

Haha! He's a pushover for her.

Does anyone know what photoshoot this pic is from? I know it's part of a FM group pic:

Yeah, I have the whole one (with all the band, not just those 2) as the screen saver on one of my phones.

Yep, it was in Rolling Stone.

Another photo from that shoot was also in the review section of Rolling Stone:

As for the original photo, as much as I love the Buckingham Nicks site it always amused me that the other band members were photoshopped out of all the photos. The only sad thing about that is that I now see them all over the internet like that. Personally I prefer seeing the original photos where the band hasn't been cropped out.
