Hey everybody
Dave Stewart was also on Howard Stern today. I only got to hear a few minutes of the interview so I cant say what he said about Stevie but if you go to the Howard Stern Site and select the Rundown it does say that he said he bedded Stevie Nicks. I hope they rerun this show again cuz I want to hear what else he said about her. He is a freak though, talking about his toys that he sells and that stuff he has done, LOL!

Dave Stewart of the Eurythemics was on Howard Stern this morning and was talking about his affair with Stevie. He says that they hooked up right after she split with Joe Walsh. He says he was at a party at her house, she was wired out of her mind. He crashed in a room, woke up and she was trying on Victorian nightgowns. Next thing he knew they were in bed together. They went at it twice and then the next morning Joe Walsh showed up and Stevie told him "don't come around here no more!". Dave says that he talked to Stevie about putting the details in his book and she said it was ok. He originally was going to leave some details out, but Stevie told him to tell the whole story. He said the story continues on as to how the song "Don't Come Around Here No More" got written and how Tom got it and he said it gets interesting. He said that he is still friends with Stevie, Tom and Joe Walsh. Dave's book, "The Dave Stewart Songbook, The Stories Behind The Songs ~ Vol. 1" comes out next week.

I think it's funny that she was trying on Victorian night gowns. In that recent interview she did just this year, she said all of her boyfriends love her beautiful lingerie and I was thinking -- um, mostly they love when you take the lingerie off! What I wanna know is after Stevie and Joe broke up Dave Stewart said he didn't know that Stevie was living with Jimmy Iovine, was she still dating Jimmy while she was with Joe?

I dunno . . . I don't have much of a comment on this. My personal opinion ~ I think it's pretty sad for men to kiss and tell. I know that sounds sexist but it's one thing for a woman to whisper among her girlfriends but for a guy . . . it just rubs me the wrong way. Tho I do think it's in bad taste for anyone to do it so publicaly, but he's obviously trying to sell his book . . . Don't Believe Everything You Hear and Read.

He said he got the OK from Stevie to put it in the book. But if he really didn't she will likely say so.

I think it's sleazy, but I don't just think that because he's a man. I didn't think Barbara Walters was right when she did it either. But this is worse, because Stewart's giving sexual details and I think Barbara had a little bit more decorum. She's not saying how many times she and Edward Brooke rolled around on the floor of the Capitol.

To his credit...he consulted with Stevie before it went to print. If she gave him approval to tell the story, then why shoud it bother you. I persoanlly love hearing these stories; they provide a glimpse of the personal side of their lives that we never hear the details of. Sell a book? If you wrote a book, wouldn't you want it to sell??

Regarding the Stevie story, he didn't make anything up or cast judgement on Stevie for the sake of exploitation...he was simply writing about various experiences he had when he first came to LA. That's it! Sexist? Hardly!

Stevie was such a guy! This song always made me think of Stevie, like it was a song she could have done. I think that's so spooky.
