I like Dungy and the Colts, but Vanderjagt is an ass. I have to admit I wasn't that sorry when he missed.

Anyway, I think Seattle will win it all.

Another big thing in the NFC is if Shawn Alexander plays next Sunday against either Carolina or the Bears. If he doesnt, I would make either Carolina or Chicago a favorite.

It was a really good game. I'd lost track of football for the last 5-6 years. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Bill Cowher was still coaching the Steelers and even more surprised to see Bettis still playing.

I hope the Steelers win the Bowl, now. No offense, Denver, but I'd like to see someone else win besides Denver or New England for a change.

Okay fine, kick us while we're down! I don't know who the hell played that game last nite but it sure did not seem like New England!

I'm sorry! I agree, though... where the hell was N.E. last night? Kinda like, where were the Colts in the first half today???

Oh, I know!! I felt so bad for him. That was a helluva game, the last 6 minutes anyway.

Well, I AM a bit disappointed that my Broncos won't get their "Revenge" game now. (thanks to that "liquored up kicker", as Peyton so eloquently calls his own teammate) The Steelers looked good, but I wonder just how much of emotion they expended in the game today? And, that may lead to a let down next week. Oh, and let's not forget the game is going to be played at 5,280 feet...the lack of oxygen will take its toll on the Steelers in the 2nd half.

I stand by my prediction that Broncos will win it all. And, should they hiccup next week vs the Steelers (which wouldn't really surprise me, actually...Jake's due for a "stupid" game), it won't matter, neither NFC team remaining can beat either AFC team remaining...the AFC team WILL be the champs.

Reminds me of what I used to say in the 70's about the Steelers & Cowboys.

Um...let's see...Denver hasn't been to the Super Bowl since 1998? I think they HAVE let someone else win since then. The Broncos have only won 2 of 39 Super Bowls and only 2 of the 5 they've been in (it just was luck that they won 'em back-to-back). It's not like the Broncos get there all the time, ya know?

Yeah, I noticed some of the bling he had on after the game, which surprises me coming from a kicker.

Yup this is 14 years for him now, an eternity these days in pro sports. He's only been to one Super Bowl though, and they've lost in the AFC title game I think about 5 or 6 times. Funny thing is though, all of those losses were at home, so maybe this time will be different. Who knows? I've given up trying to figure out THIS postseason.
