I love the way Carol Kane goes around saying "What? Humpadink, Humpadink, Humpadink, Humpadiiiiink, Humpadink!!" after Billy Crystal says "Don't say that name!" Hee!

Good christ. I fell asleep with the tube on last night and when I woke up, "The Beach" was on. I couldn't get to my remote fast enough to turn that whoreanus thing off. One of the worst movies ever made, I swear.

Wink

Hmmm....I scanned 3 different photos and got:

60% Hugh Grant in one
64% like Tony Blair in the 2nd
61% Alec Guiness in the 3rd

but in REAL LIFE I have had many people tell me I look like Ethan Embry. I think he was in "Cant Hardly Wait" and "Harold and Kumar." I remember in junior high the kids would tell me I looked like the 16 Candles-era Anthony Michael Hall.

Yes, the book was pretty fantastic. The movie adaptation of it, however, went horribly awry. Leonardo DiCaprio cannot act and his character was even more unlikable than in the book. I wanted that fukcer to die when I watched the movie. And Sal was reduced to nothing but a walk-on role. Ridiculous. The movie itself switches gears at the halfway mark (when Sal forces Richard to stay and wait for the kids with the map) to the point where it's incomprehensible. By the time it morphed into a video game, I was of the mind that being afflicted with irritable bowel syndrome would have been more pleasant than being subjected to that piffle.

Thankfully, I've never seen the movie... but yeah, the book was great.
