Also, after watching The Colbert Repor and Keith Olbermann last night...how about an amendment keeping people from writing bear porn. EWWWW!!!!!
Sounds about right to me!

Anyone who doesn't realize the hypocrisy is a total moron.

I remember my first visit to Texas in 2001, Driving along I-35 it was very scenic UNTIL you reached the Oklahoma/Texas state lines...Passed DW's Porn shop upon entry into Texas (Upon re-entry back into Oklahoma you'll pass the Casino owned by the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma.)

Ya think Texas would have passed this law considering how many porn shops I passed on the way to Dallas. I mean surely they must also sell gay porn in those damn stores (I know when we shopped at Christie's Toy Box here in OKC they carried gay porn.)

Or, as the fundies incorrectly spell on their anti-protester protest signs, "morans."

I guess the way I look at it is pretty simple. I don't really care what some state or government entity says to me about what I can and cant have, I LOVE MEN, and that's all there's to it.

And how about Lynn Cheney's lesbian erotica? Yep, let's pass an amendment stipping gays of their rights, but make money from writing gay porn!

Been watching too much of George Carlin's new HBO special "George Carlin: Life is Worth Losing"...And I can proudly & safely say those Westboro iga-tards definitely need to lose their lives so they can go "joyfully" go be with Jesus.

This discrimination makes me want to puke. It's OK to collect tax money from gays, let them pay property taxes and work with them but oh now don’t' let them have a relationship with another person that's recognized by the state. What is the big hang ups? Some people say oh those gays will take advantage of marriage. I say “oh you mean like the straight men that order a mail order bride?” They say that being gay is an abomination but was divorce looked upon the same way 30 years ago. I just don’t get it. But I voted and with that I know that I let me voice be heard.
Did you see Perry on the news when he signed the gay marriage ban several months ago? A reporter asked him what he will say to Texas' gay soldiers that are over in Iraq, that find, upon their return, that their rights have been stripped. He said something to the effect of "I'd tell them if the people of Texas have spoken, and if they don't like it, then maybe they should find another state to live in that will support their lifestyle." Real class act! The gays are good enough to fight our (unjust) war, but god forbid they want to be treated like a first class citizen when they return from Iraq (provided they don't get blown up, which I'm sure they're hoping for)!
