The Town That Dreaded Sundown (70's - It was scary for its time)
The Car ( a 1977 HBO movie-- it was scary at the time- pretty cheesy now)
Wishmaster
It (I have hated clowns ever since)
Silence of the Lambs
Seven

The Exorcist - love the crab walk in the director's cut!
Silence of the Lambs
IT
Jaws
Dracula - the one with Frank Langella

I recorded The Grudge and tried to watch it recently, but it scared me too much to watch it alone! LOL

I like spoofs:

Shaun of the Dead
Scary Movie
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes

Watch it without knowing anything, the effect will be even scarier. If you have the Independent Film Channel, it's on Saturday night. Hopefully it's the director's cut, though, because the edited American version is ass.

Especially since it's not intended as a horror movie, but a look into a way of life for this culture of people. Yikes.

Yeah...Jennifer Connelly is so cute in it. I love it when she summons all those insects in front of those other girl students and says "I love you. I love all of you."

I have never even seen this. You are so sweet and wholesome looking that its weird to think you like these! You could probably get away with murder if you wanted to!

Did you know that Neil LaBute is remaking it with Nicolas Cage and Ellen Burstyn as the leader of the cult? I'm generally not big on remakes, but this has the potential to be phenomenal.

Off. It'll creep the **** out of you. But I warn you against getting the eighty some odd minute version.

That "dude" is a black woman. That's the main reason they cut it. Audiences were confused with this sub-plot. Audiences thought that was Mary Hobbs (the woman in the sessions). But it was quite obvious this black woman was just a squatter at Danvers Hospital and witnessed all the things going on with Gordon and his workers and was the one who would end up killing Gordon.

They had some nice shots of her creeping around that place, to bad they couldn't use it. I think it was more disturbing to not know what will happen to Gordon specifically. But yeah, praise to the extras.

Blair Witch scared the piss out of me when I first saw it at the theater. Of course, all my friends made fun of me. That next summer when we went camping, they bundled sticks together & put them outside my tent.

Saw - can't believe nobody mentioned this yet, maybe I missed it. So. Scary. I'm excited about the sequel, but I don't know if I can handle seeing in in the theater.

Silence of the Lambs - one of the few movies ever that gave me nightmares.

Seven - crrrreeeeeeeppppppppyyyy!

Carrieand Poltergiest when I was younger.

Here's the scary movie schedule for this weekend on it:

http://www.ifctv.com/ifc/what/0,5266...black-,00.html

Paperhouse is on the same night as The Wicker Man and, imo, it's another must see. It's been one of my favorite movies since I was a kid and it's disturbing. Still creeps me out to this day. Wendigo is perfect, too, but Maniac is some hardcore nasty ****. I never even watched the whole thing because it disgusted and horrified me.
