Celtic-Glasgow Rangers must be the ultimate rivalry in the world.

good ones also are:

Barcelona-Real Madrid and any Netherlands-Germany-game.

Oh, and ofcourse Brasil- Argentina

soccer, loves, soccer. The only real big WORLDWIDE-sport.

yes..that is a good one...but being from kentucky, I had to put the duke/Ky rivalry

and I can't believe they have those two right next to each other, then Wake forest crammed in there too...

Being from New England, I can state the obvious:
Red Sox - Yankees (as others have mentioned)
Pats -Dolphins, or Jets (could be a tie I think!)
Bruins-Canadiens
Celtics-76's

and being a worldly knowledgable type gal:
Formula One Racing- Senna-Prost (in the days gone by, sadly...)
Futbol- Brasil-Argentina
Tennis: Connors/MacEnroe (again, days gone by...)

and rather off-topic but not really....
Music- Rolling Stones- The Who
Divas- Celine Dion-Whiney Houston
(Note: can't stand to listen to either one!)
And my favorite is:
Lindsey Buckingham/ Stevie Nicks without that rivalry...we wouldn't all be here

NC State is in Raleigh, which is actually about 10 miles from Duke and 20 from UNC. They're in a line. UNC-Duke-Raleigh. Wake Forest is about 1 1/2 away from that area. They don't call it "The Four Corners" for nothing

We definitely have a very rich college b-ball tradition around here.
