If you want to emulate Debs, though, you must strip as the song progresses.

Cross your fingers that her new "disco of the future" album is better than "American Life". Yikes.

I'm never not on a Madge bender. She's amazing, and the best to dance to. You should see me on Ray Of Light!

And what else can I say? I'm left with nothing except thank you for the compliment.

I thought the song American Life was cool and I liked Hollywood, though the lyrics were pretty sophomoric. I think she should go back to the Ray of Light era, which I loved.

Ray of Light is one of my fav. songs ever. It is just so happy and up. and, yes, I have been known to dance wildly to it while BELTING out the chorus

I liked the music to the title track, but the lyrics and her thin little voice. Eek. Liked "Hollywood" a little bit, too, but the rest was simply abysmal.

I want to beat the bitches ass whenever I hear the lyrics to "American Life". "I'm drinking a soy latte..." Who gives a flying phuck if you're drinking a soy latte or a ****ing bottle of Kabbalah Kult water!

I was just listening to that song today. I love the 80s era Madonna, but I feel she came into her own as an artist in the 1990s. I loved almost all her material from that period.

I know And - though I liked the MTV Award performance, I freely admit it was trite in its mugging for publicity - plus, it was HYSTERICAL to see just how stripperesq. Aguilera and Spears really are - Missy E. ROCKED it though.

I've tried...and it feels so wrong.

I'm hearing a LOT of good buzz about the new album. I'm really looking forward to it.

'American Life' is finally starting to grow on me a bit, but it'll always remain my least favorite of her albums.

I agree and I think it started with Erotica, which I loved. Sadly, other than playing in a two hour music video a hooker who slept her way to the top (she was not really acting there ) - she should stay off the silver screen

We could've been a force in Vegas, had I gone.

The song Ray Of Light is perfection, basically.

I don't want to say that I "soured" on her after 'American Life'... just that I kind of needed a little break from her.
But I love her, and have loved her since "Into The Groove." So it was only a matter of time before I fell off the wagon again.

She was enjoyable in A League of Their Own, but she was essentially playing herself there too.

I do give her props for her vocal training for Evita. She really worked her ass of for that.

I hate to admit it, but that rap IS pretty fun to... well... rap along with.
