um, barb didn't call the person that. it was just thought in a moment of frustration. there are tons of WORDS out there that bother people and people still continue to use those words. so yeah i do think it's life and people got to realize people arent going to change just because others dont like it. that is just the way it is. regardless.

Well, I was mainly responding to the people who just brushed it off, because if they had heard someone behind them using that word about them (if, for example, they were standing while the people behind them were sitting, or whatever) they probably wouldn't have brushed it off then. I know she didn't actually call the person that to their face.

Basically, I just think the people who told mandersv to "get over it" or "that's life (with a nice, sarcastic angel smiley for good measure, no less) are being hypocritical because if it were a Ledgie who heard that people were calling her a c*nt at a concert, they'd be on the other side of the fence in a heartbeat. That's all.

For the record, I LOVE that word and do not see what the hell the big deal is. But, I rarely say it in polite company out of respect for people who for whatever reason think it offensive.
