I don't think there was a tour book for her first tour. It was a very short tour. The only thing close to that would be the Bella Donna music book (guitar, piano, vocal). That had a lot of great colored pictures and comments from Stevie. I still regret not buying it way back in 1981.

Man! I would give a ball to have the chance to design one of those things! The type on the cover couldn't be more hideous! Chris did one of the standard "guy with a computer and thinks he's a designer 'cause he's got the programs" techniques of squishing the font used for her name to make it all wide and weird looking. Such a shame to see a project with such incredible potential turn out so badly. Sigh... some day. Some day...

Add me to the list of people who aren't impressed with the tourbook but would LOVE to have a copy of it! If anyone is going to a show and wouldn't mind. . . . I've got a Paypal account too!

And...what's the deal with "Tour OF 2005"? That makes no sense. So stupid and amatuer.

Thanks for that info. Maybe that songbook was what I saw pictures from....If only we could have an official website of Stevie's that had all those photos of her scanned really nice so we could all print them off for our scrapbooks or to frame and hang up.....[sigh] ...how lovely that'd be! All her tourbook pics, and professional photo session pics, etc..... (a nice dream on a hot, boring, summer's night...)

I want the book. I don't care if it was 2 pages stapled for $50. I must have these books! I wonder if they will be sold at the Nicksfix for those of us whose concerts are already past?

She should just return to a few cities, since the books are now done and all

I already want her to come back to Florida, and she was just here yesterday! I miss Stevie already!

A friend of mine had the 93/94 Tour book, and it was incredible, even though it looks like a rumpled paper bag on the cover. Interspersed throughout the book were clear vellum pages with printing on them, which completely changed the meaning/feeling/look of the page it was covering (in relation to the band and album they were promoting). Also, in the centerfold were four seemingly abstract art prints covered by several layers of vellum. You lifted them up, peeling off layers, to reveal the band members' faces.

And, all of their programs have many pages of interviews, band quotes, jokes, stories about the album recording sessions.
Crossing fingers they'll have one at the concert on the 22nd.

That's pretty damn funny! IMO, the tourbook is rather lame. Some photo shoot outtakes would be nice - you know, something exclusively for the tourbook. Stage shots are nice, the bigger ones anyhow.... Could have been much better.

But, I'll end up buying one anyway.
