Meh. As long as you still had friends, it can't be that bad. My senior class voted me "Wild and Witty" and I wasn't wild....it just meant I was the biggest smarmiest smartass. So, if you are asking for someone to tell you it's bad, you are talking to the wrong person. I LOVE IT!!!!!

Oh, cool. I wondered that. I've wanted to change mine but I didn't want to lose the post count/join date. Just checked the FAQ -- it says "You can alter any of the fields in your profile, except your username. Once you have registered your username, it becomes yours for life. In extreme circumstances, you may request that the administrator change your username, but he or she will require a very good reason to do so" though, so I guess maybe it's a pain in the neck for the admins to do. Oh well.

Of the ones mentioned I esp. love bluewhitefire (I didn't know there was someone here named that when I picked it for my domain name though), deadliestpoison, and oceancrashing, and I'm jealous someone got nightbird. Oh, and I would add reebokandlace to the list of funny ones

I only learned right this very moment that it's not "and you will find wild in the wind..."

It's never occurred to me to even check. I've always loved that line. It's so poetic.

i feel so disillusioned

I've always thought Stevie had read some 19th century British novel & written a song about a character, and tried to keep the spirit in the vocal. I just don't know what the book is.

well, there is no Amber book, besides "Forevah Ambah" It's set in plague times, though. But in Britain, mostly.

Oh, I didn't read all that. When I inquired if I could change, they were very nice about it.
Why did I just think of Tiffleuppagus? I'm so dorky (like Snuffleupagus, Big Bird's imaginary (but not really) elephant friend. I guess you're just that subtle...
It would be really great if you could have bluewhitefire, since that's the name of your website.

I really wish I would have chosen a different username. I was 13 when I joined, and I totally thought x's were cool. I was am so lame. That was around the time I got on livejournal, too. I had fakingiloveyous as my username, and I just got sick of it and changed it. Now it's sexy and U2 related.

I quite like the x's - makes it a bit more unique.

I guess I will forever be associated with all things porno due to my screen name.
