I've only been to South Carolina (Myrtle Beach) a few times, I've only driven through parts of North Carolina but if it's anything like S.C. I think of beautiful white sandy beaches, the ocean & warm weather.

Well...my ex husband was from North Carolina. His father wanted us to buy this house there (actually he was going to buy it for us) and leave Colorado. I was not into it. I ended up staying, he ended up leaving. I haven't been there for many years but I remember it was very green.

I would love to visit Colorado. And my terrible ex bf went to college in Boulder, he made it sound so, so lovely. It looks like a soul cleansing place - the beauty of it. um...you live in Colorado, right?

and if my Mother would have picked one place to live, Instead of going' back-and-forth between Muskogee & Denver/Boulder I would have been raised in Boulder (My oldest druggie, extreme stupid-assed, won't accept blame for himself, needs his brains Gorilla-stomped out on pavement 40 year old brother was born in Denver).

We're planning our 2005 vacation for Colorado...Havent been to Colorado since 1984, And boy do I miss it.

I'd be interested in the perception of us UK Ledgies from our American friends... How do you perceive where we live?
