I kinda liked Mary Reilly. Julia Roberts hasn't a staggering talent, but when she works with brilliant and generous actors like John Malcovich, Rupert Everett, Sally Field or Albert Finney she's usually able to give a good performance, IMO. It gets scary when she works with someone worse than her...

That whole movie is a mess. I'm dying for them to release Valley and Beyond the Valley on DVD. I hear they're going to remake Valley, so that should be interesting.

Maybe Valley and Beyond the Valley WILL be released on DVD now that Russ Meyer has passed away! Oh...Imagine the special features!

Wow...Who would they cast in the remake of Valley? Maria Elena Harding, perhaps?

She was in David Lynch's movie Mulholland Drive. Gorgeously lush woman. Oops, her name is "Laura Herring" now I guess...Here's a pic:

...I just thought she'd be the type to be in a remake of Beyond the Valley of the Dolls.

I thought the Matrix was horrible. I don't know why it is liked so much. I rented all three one night and fell asleep half way through. I really don't like them at all.

The Village was ok, but kind of hard to understand. Overall I thought it was good.
