I was trolling last nite on their site too and when I saw this pic I thought, wow, look it everyone gathered around the guitar goddess! Yes goddess, I said. That's a great picture. That's when the camera's should have been rolling! That would have been a awesome session.

Hmmm, I didn't like it that much. Oh it was cool to see they had a blast and the ending of the chain and all of GYOW were a party, but I heard some great harmonies in very flat songs that were too much ripp offs from seventiespoprockbands. And lindsey nearly harmonized with them on their songs, which was a pity because like in the Chain and GYOW those harmonies were blistering.

I agree. This is freaking Crossroads!!!! Big Love and NotToo Late were bad choices for this special. Those are "solo" songs....hard to harmonize on them, IMO.

Second Hand News would have been a fantastic choice.

you took the words out of my mouth. I kept waiting for one of the girls to do Stevie's harmony, but they never did and I was like, wtf?

and is it just me or did it seem like Linds was a wee bit bitter for some reason? I can't put my finger on it. I definitely didn't like that pretty much the first thing he said when they started talking was about something was always "such a shame about Fleetwood Mac" - but his voice on Boondocks and Bring It On Home were fabulous!

oh totally! I loved the way he made his "rushing the words cause he ****ed up" turn into "ad libbing" -

and that damn terret-like arm pose he has where he's kinda pointing, kinda flipping you off.

I think 'don't let me down again' would have been a great song to do on Crossroads. Nice opening twangy guitars and great harmonies....and maybe 'farmers daughter....

The ending of Big Love starting with the new-fangled high note is getting more disgusting by the performance. And yet it becomes more and more intruiging and I can't look away!

I also have to say that he will probably never hear that much applause for Not Too Late again in his lifetime. Unless he busts it out at an arena Fleetwood Mac show. How freaky to hear a song like that, and one that has only been played in tiny venues, get such a response!

but wasn't he saying it was a shame they were so disjointed? that they couldn't always work as a single unit because of it? i don't see that as a dis on FM.

It was more like, Lindsey just couldn't understand why the rest of the band didn't want to do things his way
