Stevie tweeted about Stolen Car. No tweet on Queen of Rock Tina Turner's solo induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame or Carole King's.
Cher, Lizzo, and more celebrities have commented. She did say she hoped her induction opened the door for more women. |

This Elton John duet is a little sh|tty — I mean, it isn’t going to make anybody forget “Levon.” The nice thing for Stevie is that the other songs on this album aren’t much better. Even the Dave Grohl duet is a “Listen to it once and then move on with your life” song.

I can’t comment on the album as I’ve only heard the Dua Lipa duet (and Stevie’s). I’m not a big fan of Elton. |

But Linda Ronstadt could

You mean her participation in Linda's induction?

Howling! And yes I remember it well. Carrie did a KILLER version of "Different Drum" and Stevie has covered Linda well over the years too

Okay, but did covering Linda Ronstadt ever make her RELEVANT?

I view them as peers. Artists of a similar generation. Stevie shouted from the rooftops how she was the 1st woman to get in the RRHOF twice. Now, just a few short years later, 2 contemporaries of her did, and we hear nothing from her. I find it telling of how she choses to align and assert herself. That said, I also called her out on not acknowledging the Foo Fighters either.

But appearing at that ceremony definitely got her name back out there. It was an all-female tribute (but for Glenn on bg vocals for It's So Easy). First time the HOF induction was done at the brand new state of the art Barclays Center. It was broadcast on HBO. I think before the HOF induction, the spotlight was on Christine rejoining Fleetwood Mac. Right after HOF, Stevie went to see Dave in Nashville. |
