I'm just pointing out that from the outside it all looks so innocuous and farcical. The very idea of horse's teeth being disgusting and causing such a ruckus. It is as if a photo of a platypus tail toppled an empire. I can understand that in the middle of it things look different. But from a distance it is like a bad sitcom.

And why did Ethan never receive a strike or temporary banning for breaking the FAQ three different times by starting threads that contained the contents of outside emails (twice) or the copied contents of an entire thread at 7W (once)?

Moderator tone issues aside (which is subjective at best), the underlying issue is and always has been selective FAQ enforcement.
