Will someone please tell me how to post a photo. I was trying to link to my Flickr page but couldn't find a link there to do it with. How do you guys do it?

I use tinypic to upload the photo itself... Let it load, and then on the left of the screen, it will give you different sizing options. Choose the "messageboard" option (or whichever), and copy the link.

Then, when posting here, click on the little yellow picture at the top of the post... It will then give you a pop-up, and all you have to do is paste your link into that little box, and Bob's your uncle!

I use Imgur. Most photo hosting sights allow you to to link the images. Look for the BBcode of the pic you want. This will appear as [img] address [/img]. Copy this and paste it in the Reply to thread area. This should link the image directly.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help guys.

"There's no cocaine in a Claude Upson daiquiri." The Upsons were apparently giving Auntie Stevie a headache.

Well baby, you fill the night with the wind and the rain and the water.

Ah This is the one you tried to put up a few pages back.

I very much like this one.

A interesting use of Katsushika Hokusai's color woodblock
of "The Great Wave off Kanagawa".

Minor Update: Inspired by UndoingTheLaces. Thanks!

Yes! I thought I had gone back and deleted it. Oops!

There a great iPhone app called Dreamscope that lets you turn photos into portraits using a number of filters inspired by famous artists and works of art. I wanted to do something with water since Stevie uses it as a metaphor in a lot of her songs.

I searched the photo I posted in the other thread with Google and this are the first results it gave me:

William Dobson 'Portrait of the Artist's Wife'

Portrait of a Nun

Charles Beauclerk 1st Duke of St. Albans

Sir Isaac Newton

Please, someone do it...
