no it's not holding FM back but it sure is not pushing them to do something different either.

I think it's more in keeping with what the band will do. But so what if it's unrealistic. Why knock it? You can hope for what you want and others can think it's unlikely without one side railing at the other's low expectations or them saying they're fed up with your high ones.

I don't think anyone is holding them back. I think people who feel repressed or discouraged by someone else's differing opinion probably shouldn't hang around a public forum where people have different opinions. I mean, people say all the time things like, "oh, I get tired of all the criticism of Stevie's head gear. Everyone is such a debbie downer." I mean, if things like that get you down, you just shouldn't be reading a variety of opinions anyway.

so... I was at O2 World in Berlin in October 2009 to see Fleetwood Mac ... and I´ll be at O2 World in Berlin in October 2013 to see Fleetwood Mac... I hope there will be something different ... I ordered a ticket in the very place in the middle down there in front ot the stage... not sure which row, but I hope it will be very near... I hope I´ll get something through our very good post service it wasn´t cheap...
So Fleetwood Mac live again, for the second time in my life... can´t believe it

I just wish Christine would tour with them again... well I hope at least London fans will see her on stage saying hello at least .

I saw the new photos of her and Mick, and Rick Vito, she really looks good, who could say she looks like almost 70 years old... the resting maybe helps

That reminds me, we have always had a 5 year question about Mick's true age and even Lindsey teased him about it one time on stage saying, "which is it?" But if i was him, I wouldn't bother pointing out I was 65 and not 70 if I didn't LOOK it.

sometimes it's hard to realistically assess how old you look though. Mick looks really good these days imo, much better than he looked in 70s and 80s.

I know you have many public forums from which to choose.

I was also thinking about positive v. negative reinforcement. During the break between the first and second legs of the SYW legs, Mick knew that fans wanted to hear more new songs and he said that he himself was pushing for SOTM, but he didn't think it was going to happen. So, they knew then and always knew that focused fans wanted change. But i think they also realized that they would always have focused fans and didn't feel much of a need to please them.

But listening to Stevie this year, it sounds like feedback she got from people about the Unleashed tour being formulaic kind of stuck with her and she wanted to shake it up after that to show that she could. It seemed to me that maybe hearing people say, "you guys just do the same thing over and over again" lit more of a fire under her and made her want to prove critics wrong. And the negativity came closer to sparking a change (or at least talking about sparking one) than anything else had.

Yes, we don't have the objectivity to judge our own looks. You know, we had been discussing HAHTF and thinking of that era of Mick and (shudder) the album cover, I would say that to me he was an unattractive young man. As an older man, I might even consider him handsome, if he didn't have that pot belly. The gray ponytail has a distinguished air, a certain flair. And I was always drawn to his accent and speaking voice. I don't think he looks youthful, but I don't find him unattractive now. I have found him ugly in past incarnations, though.

I agree with all of this. When he was young he was too thin and his pecker was always protruding through his jeans which I found quite nauseating because he was so unattractive.

Fleetwood Mac's loyal fans who registered on a ticket pre-sales site are furious after being offered only single seats for their Glasgow gig.

The band line-up of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham will be among the first to grace the stage at new city venue The Hydro this autumn with their Rumours 35th anniversary tour.

Fans who had registered with the Hydro website were on Wednesday given an early chance to get their hands on tickets but the pre-sale allocation quickly ran out.

Another pre-sale, held yesterday for people who had signed up to distributor Ticket Soup's website, also saw the second allocation quickly snapped up as keen fans swooped.

Now anyone still chasing much-sought-after tickets will have to hope they are lucky in the public sale which began this morning.

One disgruntled music lover from Glasgow, said: "I am signed up to thehydro.com and I had hoped to be able to get a pair of tickets in the pre- sale on Wednesday but all that was available was single seats - I am really disappointed.

"I thought that with a venue that has a 12,000 capacity and with such a high profile concert I would have been in with a good chance of landing them."

Tickets for the concert, to be staged on October 3, range in price from £45 to £125.

The SECC confirmed that a certain amount were allocated to the pre-sales and some held back for today's general release but they would not confirm how many were up for grabs on each day.

A spokeswoman said demand for tickets had been "very strong"

She added: "There were two pre sales – on Wednesday and Thursday – and a general release today.

"The pre-sales were well advertised on our website."

Fleetwood Mac last toured the UK in 2009 with the sold-out Unleashed Tour.

New venue the Hydro is due to open in September and the showcase event will have a Commonwealth Games theme to reflect the sports extravaganza which will get under way in Glasgow in the summer of next year.

The £120m bowl-shaped arena has also attracted names such as Peter Gabriel, JLS and Miranda Hart among early bookings.

Looking at the video and thinking about looks some more, when you get older, your eye sockets recede and go farther back in your head. So, if you had wild, funny bulging eyes in your youth, age tends to tame and normalize them. They can't really bulge like they used to, because they're pushed further back into your skull.

I actually read that quote of his in an interview he did about 2 weeks ago. Not from this video. I just saw this for the 1st time tonight.
