there are threads that deal with Barry. Just an example,
the threads titled "Limo Driver Won't Tell" and "All the
Street Angel Bashing" have transrcipts of Stevie directly
mentioning Barry by name.

Stevie and Lindsey were in a relationship in the late 60s/early 70s....its quite *possible* that there was physical abuse but at that time it was something that "just happened".

Yes, I agree that aspect has been under-emphasised. I could draw a diagram of women I know and plot on it all the ones who've ever been abused by a man, as it would be understood today, and the frequency and correlation of abuse as the decades wound back would be very clear.
