THe next song is probably Landslide. Oh well.

FWIW was pretty good. Stevie looked happy.

She sounded great. She looked great (loved the pants!).

I love FWIW...but I don't think it was the greatest song for that high-energy situation. Even to me, it was a tad boring.

That's possible, but an uptempo song would be better.

I think she'll do something a little more up-beat, considering she just did the slow-tempo FWIW...and she just did Landslide on The Voice (similar show, same network) what, a month ago?

My money is on Stand Back.

I have agree. It was a perfecly fine performance, Stevie was glowing and she sang it well. It's my favorite song off of IYD (although I have like 5 favorites ) but it just wasn't super engaging or attention-grabbing.

She looked & sounded great. Voice was better live than on the album when it comes to the chorus, IMO. I still don't think FWIW is a show-stopper, but she did about as much with it as she possibly could on a stage. (For once even the gestures didn't bother me.)
Please let the next song tonight be a rocker. Be smart: show your versatility, Stevie.

She looked and sounded great! The band did great with it, does it sound so country to any of you too? ...I hope the band is practicing more of the new songs and we can look forward to these on the tour -- even without Dave -- that guy is very lucky to be opening for her -- and it's a very smart move for her, IMHO! Can't wait for the show in August!!

That's who I thought it was until the host said it was somebody from this particular show. I don't know the names of any of these people.

BTW, if tonight inspires Stevie at all, I hope it's not to rush home to pen a song called "Professor Splash Angel".
