Guiness Red came out in the UK about 5 years ago as a promotional thing and there's now only 1 pub in Aberdeen that still serves it. It's lovely. It's roasted a bit differently and is lighter and milder the black stuff (which is still great!) so if youi ever see it you should give it a try. Great stuff.

yeah i don't think i've ever spotted that here... sounds tasty though! I love Guinness so much but I never get to drink it (I will only get it in a pub, never in the can)... plus if I have 3 or so, I'm full... it's a meal in a glass!

Yeah - never drink Guiness from a can. It's wrong - never settles right. Yup - it's a meal in a glass alright. I usually start on a couple of pints of it and then move on... I do have a few Irish friends who can spend the whole night on it though!

yeah my mate Mikey could knock back about 8 or 9 before having to move on to whiskeys. I think I had 5... once.

Have had a couple of nights on a lot of Guiness before switching far too late in the night... ouch.
