If the week of May 2 isn't, like, the greatest week in New York City history, I don't know how it can be topped. The Today show and new album on Tuesday (I'm hoping she also hits Regis, The View and Howard Stern too!). Webster Hall on Wednesday. NOTS and Atlantic City on Friday. Good grief. Maybe even another CD signing too?
May. be. here. now. |

The funny thing is that I took this week off on a whim....and now look! yay. I am going to see Kylie that weekend in Florida, but that's okay. I'll get my Stevie fill.

Keep the fingers crossed for Today Show... I expect it will happen, but as of 2 days ago she had not formally been signed or planned for the may 3 today show |

Hopefully 'fan'= one who received a text message yesterday evening advising of this concert, would be even better if it was by invite to those who got the message ! I got mine and guess just have to wait till Monday for more info, unless something shows up on ticketmaster over the weekend

What a coincidence - the Old 97s posted this on Facebook today - here's the view from the stage at Webster Hall. I know they have awesome stage lighting too, I've seen some amazing pics of Butch Walker at this venue.

Wow, that will be an intimate show! I can imagine it will be like being squished up against the stage during the edge walk the whole time though!

I don't recall that. But even if he did, I know that Howard is in a much different place today, and even though it has taken him until well past the age of 50, he's finally grown up. Over the past five years he has mended fences and actually become good friends with some of his former mortal enemies- Chevy Chase, Rosie O'Donnell, etc. But considering Howard's deep appreciation for Fleetwood Mac (he saw them at the Huggy Bear benefit in the Hamptons in 2009, which he raved about on the air) as well as Stevie (he had Natalie Maines sing "Landslide" at his wedding), I think he would be beyond honored to have Stevie on his show. And considering his freeform, no-holds-barred approach, he will have her on commercial-free for as long as she can stay. It would be an incredible (and funny) hour+ of radio.
