I think the last time I saw Stevie in one of her long trailing jackets was with FM in 1997 on the Reunion tour in Cincinnati, but I can't remember if it had shoulder pads or not, but I remember my brother talking about how badass her coat was as she walked away with Mick.

Hey, granny apparatus or not, I'd like a nice hot water bottle myself. They're hard to find these days.

I agree. That's all Mama. I used to think they were extensions, but at an outdoor Unleashed show, the humid wind was blowing around in every possible direction and her hair was just completely stick-straight. You could see right to her scalp- no signs of clips, weaves, braids, etc. And somehow she still has dark roots. I don't know her secret, but I know it must take a lot of effort for Mama to look like Mama.

I would agree. She may have extra hair for certain photo shoots or one-time appearances, but I think that's all her for the concerts, week in and week out.

*Other than the long black vampire coat she wore during the Gold Dust Tour. I still love that coat.

Yeah and what about the times she was wearing her hair up in a scrunchie? I saw no glue or braids in her hair or scalp. Looked like anyones hair that's long and in an updo

I saw it today on tv. I forget what news re-ran it. I didn't pay any attention though to any shoulder pads, just that she looked good really and still sounding her silly self, but I wish she'd lose those damn shades!

I've been pondering this bizarro quote since last night and I am finding it more and more amusing. Hot.Water. Bottle....Right. Along with her 1938 library and pink sofa. I think Stevie was nervous and truly at a loss for words and that's all that came to mind...a hot water bottle. She didn't preface it with "a" , she simply said "hot water bottle" like it was one of her dogs. She's so freaking weird, no wonder I love her so much! And I think she looked pretty darn good. Yes, she wears that same outfit over and over but I"ve grown accustomed to that. She does the same thing with her stage clothes so why should her street garb be any different? I do like the multiple necklaces (4 if you're counting and I am) she was sporting. She's only recently started doing that again. It's the little things folks! As far as the wig debate, I have no frickin clue but if she's gonna wear a wig, at least wear a different one once in a while...but then again, that would be breaking with tradition, wouldn't it? But I'm thrilled for the exposure and the fact that she/Warner Bros really seem to be making a well thought out effort to gain her exposure and that's always a good thing. Now if they could only decide on what to slap on the cover of the CD....I'm growing impatient

She kind of gestures toward her lower back when mentioning the hot water bottle. Bless her heart- I have a bad back, too. I think she looks adorable here- but should lose the shades.

Screw what those other dumbass people call her. I damn sure would roll with her in the sheets in an allnighter any day of the week. I bet she's still hot in bed. Older the wine, sweeter the taste. Hell I bet she's doing some twentysome right now while everybody calls her granny and other stupid ****. As for the shades....I'm going to bed and have a dream about Stevie wearing thoe shades....and nothing else.
