That's amazing- I love and miss that. It's been 3 years since I've visited Florida!!

Tonight we had bad lightning (Alabama).
Hope it's not too bad tomorrow.

It was sunny and hot today and I went to Lido Beach and then Siesta Key all day and it was busy at both but so nice. I dont know if the severe weather elsewhere had anything to do with it, but the Gulf here was so choppy and unusually higher waves than normal but I got out there and swam and had a great time.

Hot and muggy, but beautiful and glorious at 92 degrees in Western Massachusetts.
We have had a fab Spring so far.

Same here in MInnesota. Probably the most amazing April weather I can remember. Average high about 65 and sunny most days.

I've been in New Orleans the past few days, and haven't seen the sun since I left the Carolinas. It's been darkly overcast, misty, and rainy the entire time. The humidity down here is like nothing I've ever experienced. I only thought I knew what humidity was. It's been in the 70s and 80s though, so at least it hasn't been hot. I now understand what Anne Rice means by the following quote:

"You start out walking, and everything seems fine. Then your clothes start to get heavier and heavier..."

I am indeed! I'm staying with a friend in northeast Metairie (a block of Lake Pontchartrain and the Causeway), technically... but have been venturing into the city proper, out into the bayou country, up north of the lake, etc. I didn't realize you lived down here!

Exclamation Hmmm...

appears to be a very stormy evening is at hand. Basically "super cell" thunderstorms are about 1 hour away from hitting OKC. This day could be a repeat of May 3rd,1999.

20 minutes ago a "rope tornado" was sited near Yukon. Funny, yesterday the temp was 58, today it is only 94 - Typical Oklahoma weather.

Edit: Tornado has crossed "Lindsey" street in Norman..."Isnt that weird?"

Footage of some of the tornadoes:
