Well in the UK the only number one by Fleetwood Mac was Albatross and, it was re-released a few years later and charted again, making number four! Take that Stevie Nicks!

why such hatred for Stevie? It's a shame you can't just enjoy the music without being such asses. It's a shame that most of you AREN'T here to support the entire band, or even the music. For a select few it's almost an obsession.

Kenn, you know, sometimes people are just kidding. I love Stevie Nicks, hell I even flew to the States from the UK just to see her play live. It doesn't mean that when I talk about her it all has to be rainbows and unicorns and I certainly don't get offended if people don't love every single thing she does. Even Carrie, who you have painted as someone who loathes Stevie, has written more positive things about Stevie over the years than not.
The fact is the thread was posted to be antagonistic and, while it's great that Dreams was the Mac's only US number one, you can't expect to start a thread like this and not get people offering opinions etc. The funny thing is too that there's hardly any anti-Stevie talk in this thread.

Maybe. Maybe not. There are several people who take every chance they can to bash lil' Stevie. Not that she is my shining hour, any longer, but her contribution cannot be denied. Check other threads... You must admit, if it's not the Stevie forum there is something nasty about her.

Yeah, the thread may have been antagonistic, but it almost serves as a moment to enjoy, and laugh about. Right? Surely, you can agree, it's pretty funny that the the subheading was, "I'm just sayin..." That's funny.

It was not posted to be antagonistic. That is your perception. I posted it as a fact and to give her some props.

I looked for psotive headings on threads in this forum specific to nicks and could not find any. Others have them.

In your view then one cannot start a thread that praises nicks because the op is just being antagonitic? Please rethink that one. That thinking is seriously wrong and unfair.

Well, the fact was one from a narrow view. She's not the only Fleetwood Mac member with a #1 hit. In my part of the world Lindsey is the only current Fleetwood Mac member with a #1 hit.
